Or I must say what I simply do these days.
I know it is very unconventional of me to post on such personal subjects. But, I had promised that I will post something different, so here we are.
~I drew~
I had been sharing my drawings on my Instagram handle under the highlights section on 'doodle etc.' (I will be linking all the necessary links at the end)
Here are the glimpses of what I drew:
Some were wall arts, some body, some acrylic, some oil pastels. Feel free to question about these. The digital ones were made in adobe draw using android phone.
~I did Physical activities~

I have been doing yoga for almost 3 years with the help of YWA (Yoga with Adriene) on YouTube. She is amazing and she doesn't make you feel like you have to be perfect in poses to do yoga. And, bonus? She doesn't make it seem like just another task.
I did try blogilates for an arm challenge. Though I love how enthusiastic and amazing she is, it doesn't work with my muscle pain. So, you can give her a try because you do get result with consistency but, I would suggest find an activity that you enjoy. That way it won't be just another task and its most probable that you will stick to it.
I practiced my first year kathak for long time.

Currently I have taken a break and I can't continue my lessons in offline because I am stuck in Chennai but, I continue to learn through online platform. I will link down what I have been using if you guys are interested.
~I worked on myself~

I won't lie and say I have solved all my issues or I have become a great individual in this lockdown. But, I tried to be as productive as I could be. I have worked on my physical and mental health. I distanced myself from people who drained me and situations that threatened my peace. I took social media break. I have started practicing meditation more regularly, and I implemented these things using 21 days of habit strategy by Robin Sharma.
My sleep schedule is still f'up but I do what works for me, which is being a night owl.
I have read amazing Books and I try to read as many as possible. Currently, I am on hiatus for this too because I am working on other projects and my mind is a mess but, here is the list of books I read and few words about some of them.
The Krishna Key
Who will cry when you die- An amazing experience
Ikigai
Sun and her flowers
What Happens Next
Stranger library
We should all be feminist- I want a physical copy for this one. A book everyone should read. Short and precise
What I know for sure- I like Oprah now
A 100 years of solitude
I invested in good amount of movies and series too. I will be naming some of the ones that mattered to me.
Movies
The Imitation Game: Loved it
Thappad: Didn't make the impact I thought it would make on me.
Bulbbul: What an amazing movie ♥ New favorite is Tripti
The sky is pink: If you are sad, watch this movie.
Me before you: Another romance movie I loved
Chaman Bahar: I wonder if it was a satire on the society!?
Penguin: An okayish thriller
Guilty: Kiara ♥
It2: Because I needed answers but, first was better. I AM A HORROR MOVIE FAN. ♥
Mardaani 2: I loved Vishal (antagonist) more than Rani. He has played amazing roles like young Akbar in Maharana Pratap. Bollywood needs more television talents.
Mardaani: I watched this one after watching 2. I liked the sequel better (This doesn't happen usually. I wonder if it's the order of watching that affects us?)
Love Rosie: Something half of the population would relate. A movie with a message of 'Take the risk. If you guys aren't meant to be then at least you would know it.
Maragatha Nanayam: This is a Tamil movie that I watched with sis's fam. It was funny and had a plot too. So, I guess it deserves a mention too.
Series
13 Reasons Why, Season 4: Because I needed Conclusions... Yeah right. And it was genuinely better than season 3.
Hi!Bye! MAMA!- This is the first South Korean series I have ever watched and I enjoyed everything about it. The characters, their development, the unconventionally simple plots, the acting and even the child artist was amazing. It has to be one of the best series I have ever watched.
Young Sheldon, New Season: I am a Big Bang Theory and Sheldon fan, so I keep coming back to this for the light entertainment when I don't have anything to relax with.
Anime
My Neighbour Totoro: ♥♥♥♥♥/5
Kiki's delivery service: ♥♥♥♥♥/5
Whisper of Heart: ♥♥♥♥♥/5
From up the poppy hill: ♥♥♥♥/5
Princess Kaguya: ♥♥♥/5
In the corner of this world: ♥♥♥/5
Flavors of youth:. (Netflix anime) The colors of food in this anime was incredible to watch ♥♥♥/5
~I did and I am still doing courses~
Platforms I recommend are:
Coursera: Amazing platform for medicine field
Skillshare: Haven't tried but want to later.
Udemy: I have 'to do' courses marked here on literature.
I won't be mentioning the courses but I have completed almost 2-3.
~I attended webinars~
I attended as many as webinars I could in starting, for my field (Clinical Research), and that helped me in getting in touch with learning through digital world. I don't recommend these unless these are from reputed institutions or on good topics.
Also, I started a new hobby which is recitation of shloka's and learning meaning of bhajan's for the comfort and joy of the pronunciations.
I have been trying to complete my course material for the masters as well as I tried working on two other projects. Article and book. Both of these are in hiatus but I will be resuming these one at a time.
It wasn't an easy time. Unlike how picture perfect all these sounds, I had numerous downfalls. I filled notebooks with notes and laptops with videos of study materials and still somehow when I made this list I felt like 'That's it?'
Two-three months just wasted? On this little bit? I mentally started running a marathon against all the motivating personality I see on YouTube or Instagram forgetting that how much of my personal life had been a wreckage this whole time and I was just working to take solace.
I am still keeping myself busy to avoid confrontation with some thoughts. It keeps me grounded but I haven't had sound sleep in long time. When I do, I thank God.
So, no matter what they tell you on blogs or videos, nobody is perfect. Everything has a loophole that is not small but just sweetly hidden to keep it unnoticed.
No one is productive all of the time.
Pandemic was different to everyone. Not everybody had the luxury of their amazing home and sweet parents.
So, this was what I did, to have myself off bad thoughts.
What did you guys do?

Luna
