Hey guys, I am back with the post that I said I would do. Let us just get right into the action. I have a small gift for you guys towards the end as well.

Please watch the complete video before moving on, it took me forever to make that since I was searching for a piece of apt music as well as the theme. Also, the context is in the video, not all products, so that way it might be a bit misleading. I couldn't completely make it the way I wanted it. However, this is quite satisfactory, let me know what you guys think. You'll want these types of clips more often or pics are just enough. Comment down and let me know.

Moving to the important part, I have not bought all these items together and I am showing what I thought I bought with the money. Few of them were gifts and many of them were bought at month's gap. So, I was not splurging all the money. These are in no particular order.

  1. The outfits

Two of them are Kurtis and two tops. The Kurtis were bought around Diwali and I didn't actually have the money back then, so this was a pre-purchase but anyway it was a splurge that was needed since most of my festive and fancy outfits are stuck in Delhi and I needed two-three better-looking outfits to help me go out. Because the four of these were just under 2k, it works. Out of these four, I can't even choose a favorite. however, I love how the black Kurtis fits me.

The green formal shirt can be both dressed up and down, depending on the occasion. The pink top is a feminine touch and is suitable cotton for the stupid hotness of Chennai.

These are all from Myntra.

2. The Gifts

I got this kit from Nykaa for my sister on her birthday, and I loved the packaging. I am currently using the box but yeah, technically the rest of the items can still be considered a gift.

The shampoo is now being used by my mum and not sis, because she was too stupid to order herself one shampoo before I could surprise her.

Moving on, I also got my dad a shirt and veshti set he needed since his clothes were stuck at my sister's place and we were celebrating Diwali somewhere else. I couldn't include a picture here, however, it was a simple outfit.

The third and the most recent gift is these books that I got for my nephew on a sale during Christmas.

I got this from Crossword

I got myself some books as well. However, I don't consider it as being bought with this freelance money as I would have got the books anyway and all the items here are my 'splurging' and not a simple necessity.

3. The expensive skincare

As much as everyone thinks skincare is too much, I have always felt everyone should have one. It's like food to your skin, just the way you give food to your body.

Still, somehow I had let myself go and as a part of my New Year thing, I decided I will be taking care of myself, which includes my skin too.

Many of you would have noticed a pattern of me complaining about my sleep and that has definitely shown under my eye, which is my on an Instagrammer's recommendation, I got this.

I am not sure if it has worked completely and if I'll rebuy but It has reduced the puffy feeling.

I got a free E'clat Glow tonic with this one, which I use in alteration with another toner I got by 'Irem' (I absolutely love this one for breakouts).

The Eclat toners can be bought at their website. Irem's toner is available on Amazon.

4. The Cosmetics

I had an eye for these products at Nykaa and I simply got them. Just basic cosmetics, a foundation that fits, concealer to hide dark circles, and a lip shade from a trusted brand.

5. Your gift

NOT SPONSORED

I shopped a few health products, which I am not comfortable enough to share here. However, I got this mist and pouch free of cost. You can grab your trials for serums, mists, and so on on 'Smytten'. Once you get inside, you will get a first time 6 trial points that you can use on any product that is available on trial. You just have to pay a 200 INR delivery fee. Once the trial is over you can either stop using or if you liked the product you can buy a regular version of the same and, you will get bonus trial points. This worked for me and hence, I have a non-sponsored referral code, which will, unfortunately, work for only one person. So, it will be the first one. You can use this code to get referral cash of 200 INR, and you have to refer it to someone else and you will get 200 more, which then can be used to be redeemed.

Hey there!
Apply my referral code "zPCF7tY" while signing up on Smytten and discover amazing trials from premium brands! Don't forget to apply the code during sign-up!

That is it guys for this blog. I have worked differently on this one, hope you enjoy it.

Whosoever got the referral amount, please let me know.

Thank you and bye!
