7 right ways you can beat procrastination

Is completing tasks on time challenging for you? Especially those which need you to focus?
Worry not! We will talk about 7 ways to get it right. Get ready to say bye to procrastination after reading the blog.
1. Get the non-distracting apps

For focus, you can use the forest and study bunny app. Forest app lets you completely shut off every app whereas study bunny, lets you use all apps without any restriction while still working as a timer. Former is useful if you don't want to go on a scroll on Instagram. Study Bunny is useful if your work is either on the phone or on some application itself.
2. Make the right to-do list

Making a to-do list not only lets you see what you have to do on a particular day but also gives you a chance to arrange your most to least important tasks in order.
3. Give your random thoughts solace, not space

Often when I sit down to work or even write, multiple thoughts about ideas, or anything random I have to do including a text back, theme change, or sending email; keeps me away from getting into the zone. Keep a piece of paper or best a digital popup on your device where you can jot down those things. In that way, you won't forget what came up and also won't be distracted from what is at hand.
4. The Pomodoro technique

The 30-minute work and 5-minute break is the talk of the town. It got me doing various lame and boring reading for my examinations.
Once you are interested in a task or you are a pro with this technique, you can switch to 45-10 minutes or 50-15 minutes style depending on your capacity.
5. Getting the right kind of breaks

Are you the person whose 5 minutes break turns into an hour scroll on Instagram? If yes! Let me tell you a secret. "Never include your social media feed in your break". Do your workout in bigger breaks and for small breaks 'read your favorite book' or listen to that happy song even. But, no social media.
6. Understanding productivity is not about time

Time is not the factor that decides your productivity but how you use it.
7. Last but not least, THE BITTER TRUTH, your body needs rest.

Exhaustion. Procrastination. Brain clogging. Feeling sleepy. All of it is normal and in fact useful signals from your physical and mental health for consuming the fact that you need rest and you should take it.
