Nama stay away, corona ke cases badh rahe hai, maintain social distancing.
Hello everyone, I am back.
We will talk about why I love Delhi despite the high crime rate against women and pollution levels.
Mera Ghar hai, it is my home and I shall be always a Delhiite

'Some people can recognize a tree,
A front yard, and know they’ve made it home.'
~Hannah Baker, 13rw (Sarah Kay)
Even though I have never had my house or a place to call my own, I have lived here till March, 2020 and that would be 22 years of my damned life. And, I would be lying if I said that South Delhi is not special to me. It actually is, a lot, to a extend that I adopted a part of it for my page and blogs. Yup 'Delhiite'. And isn't this blog long due? or perhaps must have been the intro or something.
2. The Transportation

Delhi has upped its public transportation ever since Common Wealth Games and Kejriwal. Metro, buses, fatfat or what we call as 'Gramin Sewa' which in layman term is just a share auto, you name it and we have it. However, even Mumbai and Chennai now has a metro. So how is Delhi different? COST. And EASE OF ACCESS. Metro joins major regions and you actually can choose between bus or metro.
And, the buses are posh and actually completely free for ladies? Wow. That saves a lot especially if you live alone or you are a student financing yourself, like me.

And, the buses now have an app so that the ticket lines and thus social indistancing can be reduced. The app is 'chrtr' and all buses in Delhi are advertising for it. Except for senior citizens and the disabled, this would become compulsory soon (as far as I know).
The app is easy to use and user friendly and quick.
Alongside this, I have an app recommendation for Delhi Metro users, which we will cover in some other blog.
3. The local sabzi mandi

I am not even lying about the economic prospects of living in Delhi, especially relating to groceries and sabzi mandi @ vegetable market. People who have lived here forever wouldn't recognize much difference. But, those been to other places will understand. Even the countryside and villages will seem costlier. Services for beauty parlour and others are too pocket friendly.
4. The lesser judgement for your outfits

This one is a personal experience and I don't think matters much to boys. Well, I feel like Delhi has its heart open for all types of girls and outfits. I do not feel so judged if I walk down wearing a torn jeans and a t-shirt. That is just casual for Delhi. For other metropolitan places like even Chennai, this ain't the case. (The reel on my instagram handle @lunatica_mehy, explains this a lot more better)
5. The shopping spree

You get all things trendy, at a price known as pocket friendly.
Sarojini Nagar for accessories and Indian blouses.
Lajpat Nagar for its both side experience.. posh and cheap spree, to name a few.
And there are thousands of streets unexplored and yet loved by locals for this same very reason. This ain't a guide so I will not go in-depth.
6. The food

North Indian, South Indian, Desi Chinese to even fancy restaurants.
Yahan sab milega.
and Delhi aao aur chaat na khao?
Love
Luna
PS: That is it guys for this blog. This particular one I tried to make it simpler and a bit diffenrent Hope you'll enjoy it.
